Among Us is an engaging game for groups of four to ten players. Your mission is to identify the Impostors hiding in disguise among the crew members. In every match, the Impostors seek to sabotage the ship and quietly eliminate Crewmates without revealing their identities. Alongside hunting for Impostors, you must also complete various tasks to ensure the ship continues to function properly.

GAMEPLAY: IDENTIFYING THE IMPOSTOR

Crewmates and Impostors

In Among Us, players are divided into two main factions: Crewmates and Impostors. Each faction has its own roles and objectives. Crewmates must work together to complete all tasks and identify the Impostors, while Impostors must eliminate Crewmates without getting caught.

Crewmates

Crewmates usually make up the majority of the players in a match. Their task is to perform maintenance duties on the ship, such as fixing wiring, emptying the trash, or swiping ID cards. If they discover a fallen Crewmate or suspect an Impostor is on board, members can call a meeting to discuss and vote to eject someone from the ship. However, a wrong decision could bring the Impostor closer to victory.

When eliminated by an Impostor, a Crewmate becomes a Ghost. Although they no longer participate in voting like the living players, Ghosts can still support their team by moving through objects, monitoring security cameras, and completing remaining tasks.

Impostors

Impostors pose as Crewmates with the secret goal of eliminating each member without detection. They can blend into the group, pretend to perform tasks, and offer explanations to conceal their true identities. Additionally, Impostors can sabotage ship systems such as the lights, ventilation, or oxygen supply. Impostors win when their numbers equal those of the remaining Crewmates or when they successfully execute a critical sabotage, such as causing an oxygen system failure that the Crewmates fail to fix in time.

EXPLORE DIFFERENT AREAS OF THE SHIP

Crewmates must travel to various locations to complete their tasks.

• Admin Room task: the primary task here is swiping your ID card. Pass the card through the reader at the correct speed; if you move too fast or too slow, the device may fail to read the information accurately, requiring you to try again. The task is complete once the card data appears on the screen.
• Communications Room Task: here, you need to perform data download and upload operations. Tap the "Download" icon on the screen to begin downloading the file. Once the process is finished, head to the Admin room and tap the "Upload" icon to complete the task.
• Medbay Task: your job is to examine test tube samples and determine the results. Upon entering the room, you will see several test tubes on the table. Observe the color of each sample and identify the one that differs from the rest to complete the task.
