Poppy Playtime has become a phenomenon in the horror game genre, featuring a mysterious storyline, innovative gameplay, and terrifying antagonists.

In this game, you take on the role of a former employee of the Playtime company. The story begins when the protagonist receives a mysterious VHS tape, inviting him to return to the factory to "find the flower." After entering the factory, he realised that the toys, which were once symbols of the company, had transformed into terrifying monsters.

Poppy Playtime consists of several chapters, each revealing more about the dark history of the Playtime factory, including horrific experiments and the mysterious disappearance of staff members. Piece together clues, solve puzzles, and confront terrifying creatures to uncover the truth hidden within this toy factory.

HOW TO PLAY

Explore the Playtime company

Poppy Playtime transports players to an abandoned toy factory, formerly the production hub of the Playtime company. Familiarise yourself with the factory's layout and navigate through key areas, such as the security room and the toy processing zone. As you explore, you will gradually uncover the horrific events that once took place here. To avoid getting lost, pay close attention to the signs and clues provided throughout the game.

Complete objectives

As you explore the factory, you will need to complete various objectives. These tasks typically involve using the "GrabPack" to interact with objects, switches, or doors. Additionally, some puzzles require you to connect electrical wires or use items found in the environment to open paths forward. For example, in some levels, you must discover ways to connect electrical circuits or move large objects to unblock paths.

Using tools

In Poppy Playtime, the GrabPack is the most important tool that players must master. It allows you to pull, push, and move objects, or even fend off enemies. To unlock specific functions, you will need to locate the red GrabPack attachment. Early in the game, you will encounter a stationary Huggy Wuggy. Find two doors with scanners; one requires both hands, and the other requires only one green hand. Once you open the door requiring the blue hand, the power will cut out, and Huggy Wuggy will vanish. You must quickly find a key to restore the power.

Next, locate the door labelled "05", head up the stairs, and make your way to the control panel. You need to collect four fuses, including blue, red, yellow, and green ones, and then put them back in their correct positions. Once completed, a crane will place a glass container onto a conveyor belt; inside, you will find the red GrabPack hand.
